Great spot to visit. Good sledding hill in the winter and good spot for a picnic. We haven’t stayed at the campground yet, but plan on trying it someday.

This county park is a place of abundant beauty throughout the year with easy wooded walking trails, a few rolling hills many scenic spots to relax and a very unique spring house near the boat launch. The campground in the park is amazing with nice level lots and it has a great family atmosphere. Wabasis Lake Campground is amazing and feels like a small resort with clean bathrooms and warm showers. There is a nice beach with kayaks and canoes for rent along with a beach store and well stocked campground store with many books, activities, snacks, drinks and other staple food items along with other camping essentials. The campground staff is friendly, hardworking, very understanding and it shows as you can see them hard at work throughout the park. We did three two week stays in the fall of 2023 and had four different sites. All of the sites we stayed in accomadated our 30' class A motorhome with ease. I highly recommend this campground and will be coming back to camp here again.

Always a great place to hike and walk the puppies! The cave is also a neat feature! Playground on the beach for the Littles to run out all the stored energy.

Well maintained county campground! The beach was nice, the lake view was beautiful. It would be nice if the primitive sites had more trees or brush between them, so it wasn't so wide open. Otherwise no complaints!

Very well maintained campground and the sites are huge. They have an upper level with full hookups, and a lower level near the water thats rustic. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The beach area looks great for kids. It does seem like this waterfront is a little swampy, but the sectioned off area is sand bottom and groomed. So close tp grand rapids, will def come back.

I camped here with my dog. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. Small but nice. Definitely a good campground for families. The sites are big. Some are paved. There’s a nice nature trail with both new and old growth. There’s a nice bench and a bridge to cross the creek. It ends at a nice picnic area. There is a beach, playground, camp store, cabins, and bathroom facilities. They do sell firewood but they do not deliver to your site. They offer wheel barrows for you to use though. The only thing I didn’t care for was there was no way for anyone not dumping to get around the line of those dumping. I would recommend camping here and I will most definitely camp here again.

We really enjoyed the day hear at the beach. It's a nice sized sand beach with easy parking and nice facilities. We launched the sea doo at the boat ramp and played all day at the beach. Plenty of room to spread out and have a great day! The lake is big enough to have fun on but not too big and there is plenty of room for skiing or tubing.

I stayed at Wabasis Lake Campground for about a week. Due to a lack of available spaces, I had to stay in three sites, moving my travel trailer each time. The campground is small, so the move was at least short. I found the campground pleasant. Compared to other municipal campgrounds I stayed at, it was well maintained, was quiet, and had a variety of things to do, like boat rentals, fishing, hiking, playgrounds, and swimming. On the downside, the sites were not roomy, it is mostly grass so that neighbors were easily visible and felt close and some of the camp areas had pit toilets, although the nicer restrooms were close and had ample shower and facilities. The camp ground seems very kid friendly, like this was an important issue when designing the campground. This prices were modest and the staff helpful.
